Pinehurst sits about 43 miles northwest of our practice. For most dental care, you have excellent options closer to home in Moore County. For All-On-Four, the calculation is different. The procedure depends so heavily on the credentialing and case volume of the person placing the implants that many Pinehurst patients have made the drive south to The Teeth Doctors™ for full-arch implant work.
This page covers what All-On-Four is, what distinguishes the work done here, what it costs, and how the timeline runs for patients driving in from Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, and the surrounding Moore County area. Address: 6402 Yadkin Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Direct line: (910) 864-4646.
What All-On-Four Involves
Four titanium implants are placed in your jawbone at specific angles. Those angles are chosen by the provider based on your bone anatomy from a 3D cone-beam CT scan. The angled placement uses the densest bone available in the front of the jaw, which means the procedure works in cases where traditional vertical implants would have been ruled out for insufficient bone.
On surgery day, the four implants are placed and a temporary fixed bridge of teeth is attached to those implants the same day. You walk out of the practice with teeth in your mouth. The temporary is worn for three to six months while your jawbone fuses with the titanium implants. Once fusion is complete, the permanent prosthesis is fitted. From that point, you have a fixed bridge of teeth that stays in your mouth, that you brush like teeth, that lets you eat what you want.
Total treatment time runs four to six months from your first appointment to your final teeth.
Why Pinehurst Patients Make the Drive
Patients in Pinehurst are often sophisticated about provider selection. Many are retired physicians, professionals, or others used to evaluating credentials carefully before committing to a procedure. For full-arch implant work, the credentialing of the operator is the single most predictive factor in long-term outcome.
Dr. Jeremiah C. Davis holds:
- Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), held by less than 2 percent of general dentists in the US and Canada.
- Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (MICOI).
- Master of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
- Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID).
- Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI/ID), held by only eight dentists in North Carolina.
- Surgical Master of the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy, held by only eight dentists in the United States.
- Dawson Academy Scholar.
He holds a DDS from the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler. Before founding The Teeth Doctors™, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. In 2021 he was named to Incisal Edge magazine's "40 Under 40" list of America's best young dentists.
The case volume matters as much as the credentialing. Full-arch implant work is the central focus of this practice, not a secondary service alongside general dentistry. That focus drives higher case volume and more consistent outcomes for patients with complex anatomy or prior failed implants.
Your Treatment Timeline
Free Consultation
90 minutes. Cone-beam CT imaging, full clinical exam, treatment plan, exact pricing, and a review of sedation and financing options. You leave with a clear picture of your case. The consultation is free.
Surgery and Same-Day Teeth
Implants placed and temporary prosthesis fitted in a single visit. Three to four hours per arch. IV sedation is offered for patients who want to be asleep through the procedure. If you choose IV sedation, you will need a driver for the trip back to Pinehurst.
Healing Window
Three to six months for the implants to fuse with your jawbone. Temporary prosthesis worn throughout. Soft-food diet for the first 8 to 12 weeks. Three to four brief check-ins during the period, each 15 to 30 minutes.
Final Prosthesis
Once fusion is complete, the permanent prosthesis is fitted. Twice-yearly maintenance from this point on.
All-On-Four Investment
Fixed Acrylic, Starting at $20,000 per Arch
Includes complete oral evaluation, cone-beam CT scan, four implants, the fixed acrylic bridge, and the full course of care across the timeline.
Fixed Zirconia, Starting at $30,000 per Arch
Same components, with a zirconia prosthesis substituted. Zirconia is more durable, stain-resistant, and visually closer to natural enamel than acrylic. The better long-term choice for most Pinehurst patients given the longevity expectations.
Payment options:
- Dental insurance benefits where applicable. We verify your coverage in advance.
- CareCredit financing across 24 to 60 months.
- The Friends and Family Membership Plan, our in-house option for patients without dental insurance.
Individual cases vary based on whether extractions are needed, whether one arch or both, and which prosthesis material you pick. The consultation gives you a specific number for your situation.
Sedation Options
IV sedation is the most common choice for All-On-Four patients. You are in a sleep-like state for the duration of the procedure and you do not remember it afterward. Oral sedation is a lighter option taken as a pill before the appointment. Local anesthesia is administered in every case regardless of sedation route. Your consultation will cover which sedation route fits your medical history.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I have other dental specialists in Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Why come this far for All-On-Four?
For general dental care, root canals, single implants, and most cosmetic work, your local specialists are excellent choices. Full-arch All-On-Four is a narrower specialty. The angled implant placement, the same-day prosthesis fitting, and the multi-month case management all depend on doing a high volume of these specific cases. The credentialing reflects that focus: Master-level certifications from three implant-dentistry organizations and one of only eight Diplomate-level credentials in North Carolina. For this specific procedure, the depth of focus is what drives the result.
Q: What is your experience with patients in their 70s or 80s?
Many of our All-On-Four patients are in this age range. Older adults often have the strongest case for All-On-Four: long-term denture wear, ongoing bone loss, and the awkwardness of removable prostheses are quality-of-life issues the procedure resolves. Age itself is rarely the deciding factor. Cardiovascular health, blood-thinner medications, and a few other clinical factors are what we review at the consultation. Most patients in their 70s and 80s are candidates.
Q: How does All-On-Four compare to traditional dentures I have been wearing for years?
A removable denture sits on top of your gums, is held in place by suction or paste, comes out at night, and limits what you can eat. Long-term denture wear also drives ongoing bone loss in the jaw, which is why dentures tend to fit worse as the years go on. All-On-Four is fixed in place by titanium implants that fuse with your jawbone. It does not come out. It stimulates the bone, which preserves bone density. It functions like teeth. For most long-term denture wearers, the difference is most noticeable at meals: foods you had given up (steak, raw vegetables, apples) come back into your diet.
Q: What if I am taking blood thinners or have other medication considerations?
Many of our patients are on anticoagulants, blood pressure medication, bone-density medication, or other prescriptions. None of these are automatic disqualifiers. Some require coordination with your prescribing physician before surgery (for example, briefly adjusting an anticoagulant). Bring a complete medication list to your consultation and we will work through any considerations.
Q: Can my Pinehurst primary care provider coordinate with you?
Yes. We routinely coordinate with patients' primary care providers, cardiologists, and other specialists, especially for cases that involve medication adjustments or medical clearance before surgery. Bring your provider's contact information to the consultation.
Q: How does long-term prosthesis maintenance work?
The titanium implants themselves are intended to be permanent. The prosthesis (the visible teeth) may need refurbishment or replacement after 10 to 15 years depending on wear and habits. Routine cleaning at home is brushing twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush plus a water flosser daily. Twice-yearly professional cleaning visits keep the soft tissue around the implants healthy. Many Pinehurst patients pair the implant follow-ups with a local dentist for routine cleanings between visits.
