Raeford sits about 23 miles west of our practice, roughly a 30-minute drive east on US-Four01 / Raeford Road. Many Raeford residents are already familiar with the drive: it is the route into the Fort Liberty area for work, errands, and medical appointments. For All-On-Four, a procedure where the credentialing of the operator matters more than any other factor in long-term outcome, the 30 minutes is a sensible trade.

This page covers what All-On-Four is, who is performing the procedure here, what it costs, and what your treatment will look like from the first consultation through to your permanent teeth. Address: 6402 Yadkin Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Direct line: (910) 864-4646.

What All-On-Four Replaces and How

All-On-Four replaces an entire arch of teeth (upper, lower, or both) using four titanium implants placed at angles in your jawbone. The angled placement uses the densest available bone in the front of the jaw, which means the procedure works in cases where traditional implants would have required bone grafting or would have been ruled out for insufficient bone.

A fixed bridge of teeth is attached to those four implants on the same day as your surgery. You walk out of the practice with teeth. The temporary prosthesis is worn for three to six months while the implants fuse with your jawbone, then the permanent prosthesis is fitted. From that point on, the prosthesis is fixed in your mouth. You brush it like teeth. You eat what you want. You do not take it out at night.

Why a 30-Minute Drive Makes Sense for This Procedure

Hoke County has general dentists. It does not have a provider with the credentialing depth that full-arch implant work rewards. For $20,000 to $30,000 of dental work that you live with for 10 to 20 years, the question of who is placing the implants is where the value lives.

Dr. Jeremiah C. Davis holds:

  • Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), held by less than 2 percent of general dentists in the US and Canada.
  • Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (MICOI).
  • Master of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
  • Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID).
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI/ID), held by only eight dentists in North Carolina.
  • Surgical Master of the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy, held by only eight dentists in the United States.
  • Dawson Academy Scholar.

He holds a DDS from the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler. Before founding The Teeth Doctors™, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. In 2021 he was named to Incisal Edge magazine's "40 Under 40" list of America's best young dentists.

Many Raeford families have a connection to Fort Liberty, either through current service, retired service, or a family member who served. Dr. Davis is one of the few oral implant specialists in the region with both military service and the credentialing depth this procedure rewards. The practice is veteran-owned.

Your Treatment Timeline

Surgery and Same-Day Teeth

Implants placed and temporary prosthesis fitted in a single visit. Three to four hours per arch. IV sedation is offered for patients who want to be asleep through the procedure. If you choose IV sedation, you will need a driver for the trip back to Raeford.

Healing Window

Three to six months for the implants to fuse with your jawbone. Temporary prosthesis worn throughout. Soft-food diet for the first 8 to 12 weeks. Three to four brief check-ins during the healing window, each 15 to 30 minutes.

Final Prosthesis

Once fusion is complete, the permanent prosthesis is fitted. Twice-yearly maintenance from this point on.

What All-On-Four Costs

Fixed Acrylic, Starting at $20,000 per Arch

Includes complete oral evaluation, cone-beam CT scan, four implants, the fixed acrylic bridge, and the full course of care.

Fixed Zirconia, Starting at $30,000 per Arch

Same components, with a zirconia prosthesis substituted. Zirconia is more durable and visually closer to natural enamel.

Payment options:

  • Dental insurance benefits where applicable, including TRICARE Dental Program where coverage applies.
  • CareCredit financing across 24 to 60 months for the patient share.
  • Friends and Family Membership Plan, our in-house option for patients without insurance.

Individual cases vary based on whether extractions are needed, whether one arch or both, and which prosthesis material you pick. The consultation gives you a specific number for your situation.

Sedation Options

IV sedation is the most common choice for All-On-Four patients. You are in a sleep-like state for the duration of the procedure and you do not remember it afterward. Oral sedation is a lighter option taken as a pill before the appointment. Local anesthesia is administered in every case regardless of sedation route.

Driving From Raeford

The practice is at 6402 Yadkin Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303. From Raeford the drive runs about 23 miles and takes 29 to 39 minutes depending on traffic and your starting point in town.

The most direct route runs US-Four01 East / Raeford Road from Raeford into Fayetteville. As you approach the I-295 Outer Loop (Fayetteville Outer Loop), take I-295 North to the All American Freeway exit, then south to Santa Fe Drive, then connect to Yadkin Road. The practice is on Yadkin Road. About 30 to 35 minutes door to door.

An alternate route uses NC-211 East from Raeford toward Aberdeen-area connections, then NC-87 South into Spring Lake and Fayetteville. Slightly longer, about 35 to 40 minutes, but a useful alternative if there is construction on US-Four01 / Raeford Road.

Free on-site parking. Ground-floor entrance, no stairs.

 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why drive 30 minutes for an implant procedure when there is a closer general dentist in Raeford?

For routine general dental work, your local dentist is the right choice. Full-arch All-On-Four is a different category of procedure. The angled implant placement, the same-day temporary prosthesis, and the multi-month course management all depend on doing a high volume of this specific work. The credentialing reflects that depth of focus: Master-level certifications from three implant-dentistry organizations and one of only eight Diplomate-level credentials in North Carolina. For a $20,000 to $30,000 procedure you live with for 10 to 20 years, the 30-minute drive is the right investment.

Q: Can I bring my spouse and kids to the practice for routine dental care too?

Yes. The Teeth Doctors™ is a general dental practice in addition to its implant focus. Many All-On-Four patients consolidate their family's dental care here once they see the practice. For Raeford families already making the drive into the Fort Liberty area regularly, having all of the family's dental visits at one practice often simplifies scheduling.

Q: My teeth look fine but feel loose. Is All-On-Four still an option?

Maybe. Loose teeth that look fine on the outside are often a sign of advanced periodontal disease (bone loss around the roots). Once enough bone is lost, individual teeth cannot be reliably saved even if they appear visually intact. The cone-beam CT scan at your consultation gives a clear picture of your bone situation and tells us whether your specific case is a good fit for All-On-Four versus other interventions. Many patients in this exact situation end up being good All-On-Four candidates.

Q: Will I need to take a lot of time off work for follow-up visits?

Most of the timeline is healing time, not chair time. Surgery day is the only appointment that requires a full day off. The 90-minute consultation usually fits into a half day. The three to four brief check-in visits during the healing window are 15 to 30 minutes each and can be scheduled at the start or end of the workday. Most patients find the time commitment manageable around a full-time job.

Q: What if I have car trouble on surgery day and cannot get there?

Call us as soon as you know. Surgery day involves coordinated scheduling of the implants, the temporary prosthesis, and the IV sedation team, so we plan well in advance. If you need to reschedule with reasonable notice, we work you back into the next available block. Same-day cancellations are tougher but we handle them as best we can. For long-distance patients, having a backup plan (a family member who can drive you, a hotel near the practice the night before) can be useful for peace of mind.

Q: Is there parking close to the entrance? I have some mobility limitations.

Yes. Free parking is on-site directly in front of the building. The entrance is ground-floor with no stairs. We can also have someone meet you at your vehicle if you need walking assistance. Let us know in advance what level of mobility support you need and we will be ready.
