Spring Lake sits about 10 miles north of our practice on Yadkin Road. The drive is roughly 12 to 15 minutes down NC-87 South. If you live in Spring Lake (military family in off-post housing, civilian resident, retiree, or otherwise), you are close enough that distance is not a factor in the decision. The question becomes who is performing the procedure and what their credentialing looks like.

This page covers what All-On-Four is, why Spring Lake residents pick this practice, what it costs, and what the treatment looks like from your first consultation to your permanent teeth. Address: 6402 Yadkin Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Direct line: (910) 864-4646.

What All-On-Four Replaces and How

All-On-Four replaces an entire arch of teeth (upper, lower, or both) using four titanium implants placed at angles in your jawbone. The angled placement uses the densest available bone in the front of the jaw, which means the procedure works in cases where traditional implants would have required bone grafting or would have been ruled out for insufficient bone.

A fixed bridge of teeth is attached to those four implants on the same day as your surgery. You walk out of the practice with teeth in your mouth. The temporary prosthesis is worn for three to six months while the implants fuse with your jawbone, then the permanent prosthesis is fitted. From that point on, the prosthesis stays in your mouth. You brush it like teeth. You eat what you want. You do not take it out at night.

Why Spring Lake Patients Pick This Practice

Spring Lake has its share of general dental options. For full-arch implant work, the right question is not how close the provider is, but how deep their credentialing and case volume run for this specific procedure.

Dr. Jeremiah C. Davis holds:

  • Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), held by less than 2 percent of general dentists in the US and Canada.
  • Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (MICOI).
  • Master of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
  • Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID).
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI/ID), held by only eight dentists in North Carolina.
  • Surgical Master of the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy, held by only eight dentists in the United States.
  • Dawson Academy Scholar.

He holds a DDS from the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler. Before founding The Teeth Doctors™, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. The practice is veteran-owned. In 2021, Incisal Edge magazine named him to its "40 Under 40" list of America's best young dentists.

A Practice That Treats the Whole Spring Lake Household

Many Spring Lake households have a connection to Fort Liberty (active duty, retired military, or a military spouse), but the residents of Spring Lake also include teachers, healthcare workers, small business owners, and retirees who chose the area for its proximity to Fayetteville without being in the city itself. The Teeth Doctors™ handles family dentistry alongside its implant focus, which means the same trip into Fayetteville covers routine cleanings for the rest of the family.

For All-On-Four patients with a spouse who needs routine care, kids who need cleanings, or a parent who needs general dental work, having one practice for the household simplifies the scheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I live in Spring Lake but my spouse works on the installation. How does scheduling work for us?

We work around military schedules regularly, including training calendars, PCS dates, and deployment windows. Coordinating a spouse's appointments around a service member's availability is a common request. Bring both calendars to the consultation and we will block out a treatment timeline that fits.

Q: We are a military family using TRICARE Dental Program. What is covered?

TRICARE Dental Program coverage for implants depends on your specific enrollment status and the medical necessity of your case. Rather than quote percentages that may not apply to your plan, we verify your benefits before treatment so you know exactly what is covered. Bring your TRICARE information to your consultation.

Q: Can my spouse and I coordinate our care together since we live nearby?

Yes. Many Spring Lake couples schedule their dental care at the same practice for convenience. If both of you need implant work, we can structure the timeline so the two of you are not in the post-surgery recovery window at the same time, which keeps the household functioning.

Q: What is the closest pharmacy for post-surgery prescriptions?

We send prescriptions to your pharmacy of choice. For Spring Lake residents, there are several pharmacies along Bragg Boulevard and NC-87 between the practice and your home that handle this routinely. We can have prescriptions ready before you leave the practice if you prefer to pick them up on your way home.

Q: How does follow-up care work if my service member is deployed and I am scheduling solo?

We work with patients who are managing their own schedules independently. The brief check-in visits during the healing window are short enough to fit around a single working parent's schedule. If you need help arranging a driver for the surgery day (when IV sedation rules out driving yourself home), we can suggest options.

Q: Is the practice family-friendly? Can I bring my kids if a sitter falls through?

The waiting area is comfortable for short waits, and we have had patients bring kids on a few occasions when a sitter fell through. For the surgery day itself, that is not workable (the appointment is long and you will be under sedation). For the consultation, the brief check-ins, or routine family appointments, bringing kids is fine.
