Vander sits just east of Fayetteville, about 13 miles from our practice on Yadkin Road. The drive runs roughly 20 to 25 minutes through central Fayetteville. For a procedure as involved as All-On-Four, the geography is convenient. What matters more is who is doing the work and what their credentialing looks like.
This page covers what All-On-Four actually is, why patients from Vander pick this practice for full-arch implant work, what it costs, and what your treatment will look like from the first consultation to your permanent teeth. Address: 6402 Yadkin Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Direct line: (910) 864-4646.
What All-On-Four Is
All-On-Four replaces an entire arch of teeth (upper, lower, or both) using four titanium implants placed at angles in your jawbone. The angled placement uses the densest available bone in the front of the jaw. This is important: in cases of long-term tooth loss, the bone at the back of the jaw often deteriorates, but the bone in the front is typically preserved. By placing the four implants at angles into that preserved bone, the procedure works in many cases where traditional vertical implants would have required bone grafting or would have been ruled out entirely.
A fixed bridge of teeth is attached to those four implants on the same day as your surgery. You walk out of the practice with teeth in your mouth. The temporary prosthesis is worn for three to six months while the implants fuse with your jawbone. Once fusion is complete, the permanent prosthesis is fitted. From that point on, you have a fixed prosthesis that stays in your mouth. You brush it like teeth. You eat what you want. You do not take it out at night.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Vander is small and Eastover is just to the north. Why come to this specific practice instead?
For full-arch implant work, the credentialing of the operator is the single most important factor in the long-term result. The combination of credentials at this practice (Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Master of the Academy of Osseointegration, plus FAAID, DABOI/ID, and Surgical Master of IDEA honors held by fewer than ten dentists in the country) is unusual at any distance. For $20,000 to $30,000 of dental work that you live with for the next 10 to 20 years, the depth of the credentialing is what makes the 20-minute drive worth taking.
Q: What is the difference between this practice and a general dentist who also does implants?
Many general dentists place single implants competently. Full-arch All-On-Four is a different procedure category. It requires angled implant placement, same-day prosthesis loading, careful management of the bite, and multi-month case management. The credentialing and case volume that produce consistent outcomes in this specific procedure are concentrated in providers who focus on full-arch implant work. That is the central focus of this practice.
Q: What if I have severe bone loss? I have been told I am not a candidate for implants.
All-On-Four was specifically developed for patients in this situation. The angled placement of the four implants uses the densest bone available in the front of your jaw, which is typically preserved even after long-term tooth loss. Many patients who were told they could not have traditional implants are good candidates for All-On-Four. The cone-beam CT scan at your consultation gives a definitive answer for your specific bone anatomy.
Q: Can a denture I have been wearing be converted into an All-On-Four prosthesis?
Not directly. The All-On-Four prosthesis is custom-designed and fabricated specifically for the four implant attachment points. Your existing denture cannot be retrofitted to the implants. However, the design of your new prosthesis can be informed by what you liked or did not like about your previous denture (tooth shape, lip support, bite position). Bring your existing denture to the consultation if you have feedback on what you want changed.
Q: How is All-On-Four different from snap-on implant dentures I have heard about?
A snap-on implant denture (sometimes called an overdenture) uses two to four implants to anchor a removable denture that you take out at night for cleaning. All-On-Four uses four implants to anchor a fixed bridge that stays in your mouth. The All-On-Four prosthesis is the closer-to-teeth option in function, look, and feel. The snap-on option is less expensive but requires daily removal and does not feel as much like teeth. The consultation will cover which option is the better fit for your case.
Q: Is there a warranty or guarantee on the procedure?
All-On-Four implants have success rates above 95 percent over 10 or more years when properly placed and maintained. The practice stands behind its clinical work: if an implant fails as a result of clinical issues during the early integration period (the first few months), we address it under the practice's clinical responsibility. Long-term outcomes depend partly on oral hygiene maintenance on your end, but the procedure itself is backed by the practice. The consultation covers the specifics in detail.
