A 20-Minute Drive From Eastover for Full-Service Denture Care

Eastover is a small community, and like a lot of small communities in eastern Cumberland County, it does not have its own implant-and-denture practice. Most residents drive west into Fayetteville for anything beyond routine dental work.

We are at 6402 Yadkin Road, on the west side of Fayetteville near Cliffdale and the All American Freeway. From the center of Eastover, that is 13 to 15 miles via NC-24 / NC-210, about 20 minutes outside rush hour. Patients tell us the drive is part of why they come to us: it is short enough to do on a regular workday, and the practice handles their full case from extractions through final delivery without referring them out.

Denture Options We Offer

Full Dentures

A full upper or lower denture replaces all the teeth on that arch. We take impressions, fit a wax try-in so you can preview the look, and deliver the final set. Adjustments over the next few weeks are normal as the denture settles in. Most patients reach a comfortable fit within a month of delivery.

Partial Dentures

A partial fills the gaps where teeth are missing while clipping onto the natural teeth that remain. We make partials in cast metal, flexible (Valplast and similar), and acrylic versions. The right type depends on which teeth you have left and how visible you want the clasps to be.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Two implants in your lower jaw with a snap-in denture eliminates lower-denture slipping for most patients. Four implants per arch with a fixed bridge (All-on-4) means a set of teeth that does not come out and that you brush like natural teeth. Both options preserve jawbone better than traditional dentures because the implants stimulate the bone the way natural roots do.

Same-Day Immediate Dentures

If you have remaining teeth that need to come out, we can deliver a denture the same day as the extractions so you do not leave without teeth. Immediate dentures get a soft reline at 3 to 6 months as your gums heal, and most patients move to a final permanent set 6 to 12 months in.

What Makes Our Practice Different

Dr. Jeremiah Davis holds five master-level and board credentials in implant and general dentistry: Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID), Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI/ID), Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (MICOI), and Master of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). Most general dentists in this region do not hold any of these.

Practically, that means we do the surgery, the implant placement, and the prosthetic work in one office. You are not handed off between a surgeon, a prosthodontist, and a general dentist. The treatment plan you see at the consultation is the plan we deliver.

Your First Visit, Step by Step

The first visit is a free consultation, about 60 minutes. Here is what happens:

  1. Brief medical history review and current dental concerns.
  2. Full clinical exam, including any current dentures or partials you bring with you.
  3. Panoramic x-ray and, if implants are on the table, a 3D CBCT scan.
  4. Treatment options laid out on a screen with photos so you can see what each option looks like.
  5. Written cost estimate for each option, taking insurance into account.
  6. Time to ask questions and decide on your timeline. No pressure to book treatment that day.

Sedation Options

A lot of denture and implant patients have put off dental work for a long time. Sedation makes the appointments feel shorter and easier:

  1. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas): wears off in minutes; you can drive home.
  2. Oral sedation: a pill before your appointment; you will need a driver.
  3. IV sedation: for full-arch implant placement and serious dental anxiety; you will sleep through it and need a driver.

Cost, Insurance, and Membership Plan

We accept most major dental insurance plans and file claims for you. For patients without insurance, our Friends and Family Membership Plan covers exams, cleanings, and x-rays for an annual fee, plus a discount on treatment. CareCredit financing is available for cases that need multi-year, low-monthly payments. You will get written numbers at the consultation so you can compare options.

Eastover Denture FAQs

Are dentures my only option for missing teeth?

No. Bridges, single implants, and implant-supported dentures all replace missing teeth differently. Dentures are the right answer for some patients and not for others. We walk through the alternatives at your consultation so you choose based on the full picture.

How long do dentures last?

Conventional dentures need relining every 3 to 5 years and replacement every 7 to 10 years on average. Implant-supported dentures last considerably longer because the implants preserve the bone underneath.

Will I need to take my dentures out at night?

Conventional dentures should come out at night and soak in cleaning solution. Snap-in implant dentures come out for cleaning. Fixed implant bridges (All-on-4 final) stay in your mouth and you brush them like natural teeth.

Can I eat normally with dentures?

With conventional dentures you can eat most foods, but tough meats, sticky foods, and very crunchy items take practice. With implant-supported dentures you can eat anything you ate with natural teeth.

How soon can I be seen?

We schedule new-patient denture consultations within a week of your call. Same-week openings are common for cancellations.
